From Simple fields...arise epic courses

As you can imagine, given the amount of time we have devoted to playing this game, we eventually started referring to the places we play as ‘Courses’ like in Golf, rather than just ordinary ’Fields’.

We have even given special names to certain courses according to the features they have.  For example, The Lynx at Terwillegar is a HUGE course which has no trees, just rolling hills and grass that grows so fast and tall that we can only play it in the early spring.

Big or small, any course can be amazing by producing their own remarkable and memorable shots. The more diverse they are, the more the game evolves! Thus exploring different courses in your area should be a part of every Ultimate Bocce season.

Here are the names of the Courses we have played so far.  Some are simply legendary like that of Haddow Trails.  It's the 'St. Andrews' of the Ultimate Bocce world.

Haddow is where we first began to experiment with different rules and It is credited as the birth place of Ultimate Bocce.

Brander Gardens was the first all left handed game (after the Doak broke his arm).

The Lessardian Dubyss is a massive sand dune on the West end of the City.  It will soon be converted into housing but its pretty darn cool for Ultimate Bocce!

The Hampton Harrows boasts the only game ever played to 100.  And Ambleside is where the famous lost Bocce Ball fell to the depths of the sewer... Awesome.
