SO WHAT KIND OF BOCCE BALLS DO WE USE, AND WHERE DO WE GET THEM?
Field Game
That's a great question! We are partial to several different brands of Bocce Balls but 2 in particular are the 'go to' for us. The set displayed on the right is very popular and we like them because they are durable! The Balls used in Ulitmate Bocce need to be tough as we really put them to the test. They have considerable weight to them and are very solid so they will last a long time.
We use this set specifically for our Field Game.
The Sand Game
This Bocce Ball set is very unique and we use it for our new Sand Game. They have a chrome finish and also considerable weight, but are much smaller which allows for the amount of lofting and precision throws required in the Sand. The Jack pictured here is actually from the Field Set because the Jack included with the Chrome set is very small and we found that scoring was better with the larger Jack.
The Ultimate Rules for the Sand Game are much different than the Field Game and are coming soon to the site! They are under construction...
